Founded in 2004 by Evan Manevitch, Independent Print & Design emerged from a pivotal moment in his career. Originally an Art Director at a national advertising agency, Evan found himself burning the midnight oil with freelance design work. Together with a partner, he ventured into starting their own design firm, hustling local businesses during lunch breaks. However, when the partner failed to meet expectations, Evan made the decision to go solo.
Struggling to juggle his full-time role as an Art Director and the mounting requests from his freelance clients, Evan found himself hospitalized due to the overwhelming stress. With ECG wires monitoring his heart, he confided in his wife Stephanie, realizing a change was imperative. This moment sparked the inception of Independent Print & Design.
From its humble beginnings, the company swiftly evolved. Evan expanded the team, invested in wide format and digital printing equipment, and in 2017, relocated to a larger facility in central Boca Raton to accommodate the growing demand.
Over the years, Independent Print & Design diversified its offerings, venturing into vehicle wraps. As the demand surged, the team hired outside installers to wrap vehicles onsite.
